Software Architect

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate as a member of an Engineering team, reporting to the Manager of Quality Assurance.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and deployment of high performance algorithms to improve the quality of results, ranking metrics, and data mining tools, across our search and services platforms.
• Architect highly reliable, scalable, maintainable and operable large-scale software systems.
• Design and implement production quality code for mission critical NetSeer applications.
• Develop and see projects through from the design stage to finished product.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 3+ years technical leadership with architectural responsibilities.
• 6+ years work experience and highly competitive Java skills.
• Well versed in OO modular design, a devoted practitioner of re-factoring and pragmatic programming approaches.
• Takes great pride in producing clean, concise, reusable and maintainable code.
• Ingrained knowledge of software engineering principles, source control systems (CVS, subversion, arch), with exceptional debugging and testing skills.
• Experience with server-side web frameworks such as JSP, Servlet and Strut a plus.
