Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate as member of an Engineering team, reporting to the Director or
  Vice President of Engineering.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and deployment of high performance algorithms to improve the quality of results, ranking metrics, and data mining tools across our search and services platforms.
• Contribute to rapid prototyping of new algorithmic ideas and concepts.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• At least 3+ years programming experience.
• Strong knowledge and coding experience with Java or C++.
• Well-versed in OO modular design, a devoted practitioner of re-factoring and pragmatic programming approaches.
• Takes great pride in producing clean, concise, reusable and maintainable code.
• Ingrained knowledge of software engineering principles, source control systems (CVS, subversion, arch) with exceptional debugging and testing skills.
• Strong experience with AJAX, HTML, JavaScript and CSS a plus.
• Experience with server-side web frameworks such as JSP, Servlet and Strut a plus.
