Software Quality Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate as a member of the Quality Assurance team, reporting to the Manager of Quality Assurance.
• Assist with the testing, benchmarking, and optimization of the core NetSeer services and infrastructure.
• Demonstrate out-of-the  box thinking to develop and execute test cases and to predict potential problems before they occur.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• At least 2+ years programming experience.
• Strong knowledge and coding experience in Java.
• 2+ years Linux experience desired, shell scripting a plus.
• Understands and practices OO design.
• Delights in well-designed, clean, reusable code.
• Software profiling and optimization experience a plus.
• Experience with test and automation tools a plus.
