Senior Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate as lead member of an Engineering team, reporting to the Director or
  Vice President of Engineering.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and deployment of high performance algorithms to improve the quality of results, ranking metrics, and data mining tools across our search and services platforms.
• Contribute to rapid prototyping of new algorithmic ideas and concepts.

Qualifications:

• MS/PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 6+ years work experience and highly competitve Java skills.
• Proven software development experience.
• Well-versed in OO modular design, a devoted practitioner of re-factoring and pragmatic programming approaches.
• Takes great pride in producing clean, concise, reusable and maintainable code.
• Ingrained knowledge of software engineering principles, source control systems
  (CVS, subversion, arch) with exceptional debugging and testing skills.
• Strong experience with AJAX, HTML, JavaScript and CSS a plus.
• Experience with server-side web frameworks such as JSP, Servlet and Strut a plus.
